1. Information we process

Website and technical information. When you visit our website, our hosting infrastructure may process your IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, requested pages, and security or error logs. We use this information to deliver the website, maintain security, diagnose failures, and prevent misuse.

Information you send us. If you contact us, request early access, or report a problem, we process the information you provide, such as your email address, the content of your message, and any attachments you choose to send.

Account information (if you create an account). If account sign-in is available and you register or authenticate, we process identifiers such as your email address, account ID, display name where provided, authentication method, and session-related information. If you sign in with a third-party identity provider, we receive the information that provider shares for the sign-in process. Using the Free tier does not require an account.

Subscription information (if you purchase Pro). We may receive your account identifier, order or subscription identifier, purchased plan, billing period, payment status, and renewal or cancellation dates from our payment provider. We do not ask you to give Prindd your full payment card number, and card payments are handled by the payment provider.

Figma document information. Prindd needs access to relevant elements of the Figma file in which you run the plugin to perform layout operations, including text flow, master-page actions, pagination, and export. These operations are intended to run within the Figma plugin environment. Prindd's core publishing features are not intended to upload or retain the contents of your documents on Prindd-owned servers. The documents themselves remain subject to Figma's platform and storage arrangements. If you voluntarily include design content in a support request, we will process that submitted content to respond to your request.

2. Why we process information

We process information to operate and secure the website and plugin; respond to support requests; authenticate accounts where sign-in is enabled; verify subscription entitlements and provide paid features; administer purchases and billing-related communications; comply with legal obligations; and investigate misuse or technical problems.

Where laws such as the GDPR apply, our legal bases may include performance of a contract (account and subscription services), legitimate interests (security, support, and service improvement where applicable), compliance with legal obligations, and consent where specifically required (for example, optional non-essential cookies or marketing communications).

3. Service providers and disclosures

We use providers as necessary to deliver the Services. Depending on which features are enabled, these may include:

  • Figma: the platform on which the Prindd plugin operates.
  • Vercel: hosting and delivery of the Prindd website.
  • [AUTHENTICATION / DATABASE PROVIDER, WHEN ENABLED]: account authentication and subscription entitlement storage.
  • Lemon Squeezy: merchant of record for eligible paid purchases, payment processing, tax administration, customer billing, and refunds, once paid checkout is enabled.

We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect our rights and users, or as part of a legitimate business reorganization subject to applicable law. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

For purchases processed by Lemon Squeezy, the checkout and payment transaction are also governed by Lemon Squeezy's own terms and privacy notices.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for website operation, authentication, security, and saving user preferences. If we introduce optional analytics, marketing cookies, or comparable tracking technologies, we will update the information provided to visitors and request consent where required by law. Browser controls may also allow you to restrict cookies, although some essential features may then not work correctly.

5. International processing and storage

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. We take applicable data protection and cross-border transfer requirements into account when selecting providers and deploying services. Any legally required local storage, transfer safeguards, or consents must be implemented in the actual infrastructure, not merely described in this Policy.

6. Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. For example, account and subscription records may be kept while an account or subscription is active; security logs are kept for an operationally necessary period; and records may be retained longer where required for accounting, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable requirements and our technical retention procedures.

We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to a competent data protection authority.

To exercise your rights, contact hello@prindd.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some records must be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve transactions.

8. Children's privacy

Prindd is intended for professional design workflows and is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law.
